A Sad Tale

A few weeks ago I was contacted about our housing program. It was from a nice lady named Beatrice. She had lost her leg and was on SSDI. Her budget was only a quarter of what rentals go for in our area. Since we are just beginning our adventure, I had to turn her away, as we have no rentals available as yet. I am not sure what ever happened to the woman. I hope she was able to at least rent a room.

This broke my heart. This is the reason we have begun the Hearth part of our foundation. We want to find homes in which we could rent to low income people like Beatrice.

How can you help? Do you know of anyone who might have a home they need to get rid of? It could be an ugly home, we don't care! We will fix it up and make it available to SSI & SSDI recipients. We also could use donations for the costs of fixing up the homes. Join us in a wonderful cause, making a difference, one life at a time.
